Este artículo examina las distintas percepciones sobre la escalada antisemita en el Tercer Reich presentes en un amplio abanico de publicaciones de habla alemana de la Argentina, desde las militante- mente nacionalsocialistas hasta las más virulentamente antinazis. Analiza las imágenes e ideas sobre el judaísmo, y sobre la relación entre los judíos alemanes y su tierra natal en el periodo previo a la denominada «solución final». Busca mostrar aquellas coincidencias, discrepancias y cambiantes alineaciones entre los actores en un momento en el cual las posiciones que posteriormente aparecen como evidentes aún no se en- contraban definidas.
The escalation of antisemitism in the Third Reich was reflected in a wide range of German-language publications edited in Argentina. This article examines the diverse perceptions on this phenomena from the militantly National-Socialist to the most virulently anti-Nazi. It analyzes images and ideas about Judaism and the relationship between German Jews and their homeland prior to the «final solution». It shows the coincidences, discrepancies, and changing alignments be- tween parties at the time. Even though the positions that these parties later took may appear evident in retrospect, they emerged from a pe- riod of indefiniton.
